We reached out to Frank for wainscoting and crown moulding. He was prompt in responding and came home to take the measurements and provide estimates. Darren and his assistant did the actual installation and we are very happy with their work. Darren is a true craftsman and his quality of work is truly awesome and professional. We reached out to Frank at Crown Cornice and within a day he was at our home measuring up and advising us on the style of wainscoting that would fit our vision for our home. He was spot on. To begin with we decided to just do the main floor of the house but after the first day the work was so incredible that we asked for the whole house to be done. We have to give a shout our here to Darren and Jay who did the actual installation. Darren is a perfectionist who is so passionate about his job that he pulls you in to the whole design concept and vision for the job. We honestly had no idea that we would be so involved in the design itself and amount of detail that goes into the whole project. It is a vision, truly, of the whole space and I now understand why this in the hands of some is truly an art form. Darren is an exceptional craftsman. I do not say this lightly. His ability to see an entire space and visualize and take you through it is amazing. He is also completely without ego and really wants you to love the work. Very difficult to find these kind of people nowadays. We couldn't be happier with everything. Everyone was on time, did everything they said in the timeframe laid out. Honestly just a great great process and I wouldn't hesitate to tell everyone to use this team. Of course i'll also say book Darren and Jay to do the job because they're so incredibly talented but i'm sure Frank has more people in his team he trusts. Thank you to everyone, our space has been transformed and the space looks like a complete different home. So so happy. Well done Crown Cornice!!!!!!! Just a side note, this is not painted yet, literally just applied to the wall and still looks this good but wanted to post asap for these guys.
Standard products. As Hann-Cole noted below, products used by this company are ok but standard, big box store products, "Alexandria" moulding. No different than Lowes or Home Depot. Can purchase them at big box stores and get installed. Seems there is no superior quality with the products.
We have used Crown Cornice several times in several homes over the years and they have never disappointed. From owner Frank to the crew, they are professional, courteous and do a fantastic job! Highly recommend them.
I ordered hardfloors and laminate floors through Crown Cornice and the service was excellent!! Janusz installed my floors, he was excellent. He was very detail oriented and cleaned up each night before he left. I was soo impressed with the service that I then ordered California shutters and again was impressed with the service. Our experience with frank, darren and their crew has been excellent from start to finish. They accomodated the products we asked for, answered all our calls and questions in a timely manner and defiantely worked with us on such a time sensitive project. Prior to choosing them, i have called more than 5 companies to do comparisons...and i chose crown cournice simply for their excellent genuine, customer service. Their work is amazing! They were able to replicate the excact pictures i sent in from magazines and also offer so much expert advise (thanks frank!!!) I couldnt have chosen a better company for my first project. I will definately be working with this company again! Thanks Frank, Darren and your team for everything!!!You certainly turned my home into my dreamhome with the beautiful waffle and crown mouldings! We first contacted Frank in 2016 and obtained quotes for both coffered ceiling and crown. We were unable to proceed then and contacted him again in 2017. Frank was able to fit us in and split project into 2 visits. The crews were quick and mostly knew what they were doing; even though some new employees were present and being in-training. Darren is the main guy who measures, cuts and nails, and IS THE BOSS. However, where we think the company is lacking is customer service, attention to details, protection of private property, cleanliness and communication. - The crew damaged walls, ceilings, custom made walnut table, fardwood floor and a brand new door - weather stripping. Frank agreed to compensate for most items and deducted cost for damages out of the total price. Once the crew left, more damages were noted but Frank never responded. THE BOSS allowed his assistant to rub on own stainless steel fridge with his belt on. Advice: inspect all before you pay and deduct damages! -The crew is messy! They are there to get in and out. They are overbooked and overcommitted. They lay the mats randomly on the floor but then dump all while folding the mats on the same floor. They will ask you to open the garage doors for cutting long pieces but again never clean up after. There is absolutely no clean up done by the crew. There was dust, caulking on walls and floor, saw dust, nails and shims all over driveway. I don't even know if they own a vacuum or a broom. They use your washroom and piss all over the floor and splatter all over walls and mirror. Be prepared to clean. -Attitude is through the roof. THE BOSS doesn't want to be watched and talks back behind you with other workers. We caught THE BOSS talking rude about us outside on the camera yet minute later he would walk in with a fake smile. -Attention to details is also lacking. If you want quality, be prepared to watch and point out things. THE BOSS won't like it as it is costing him time and money but it is your house and your end product for which you are paying for. At the end of the day, the areas looked good. But you are not good if you damage things while getting something good done. The company needs to back up quality with action and compensate for all damages caused by the action of their crews.
