The first time I decided to shop here I was followed around being watched like a hawk like as if I was about to pull a heist. I will not shop here again, what an awful way to conduct business, prices are a bit too high too.
Decided to go back in the hobby after many years. The staff, Paul, Damon, Cameron were nothing but a 150% helpful in any way to get me sorted. The store is very user friendly and very well stocked. Highly recommend!
I've been coming consistently since I lived in Mississaga now in North Bay and still make the drive . They have always been super helpful. The new location is just as organized as the old one was, making it easy to find things.

Really cool place! Being newer to the hobby of model trains after a 30+ year absence the prices seem to be competitive and the staff AND patrons are all super friendly people that are willing to lend a hand and answer questions for newer (again) folks to the hobby like myself. All in all, I would recommend you stop in and support these local businesses before they are gone some day like many before them. Take Care
Just a horrible experience! Women stay away unless you want to be creeped on by old men! I've been to the store in person about a year ago. I tired to give this store another chance to support local by putting in an online order but that was just even more of hassle. I'll just be using amazon as it's cheaper and faster. When I walked into the store I was just stared at by the 2 older gentleman behind the counter. I said hello but they just continued to stare with their mouths dropped open. (I'm guessing they don't see many heavy tattooed young train enthusiasts) I kinda shrugged it off cause I'm used to it but found it a little off putting that they couldn't say hello back. After walking around with my gf for 10 mins another older man approached us. He had zero interest in talking to me about trains but followed my gf around and mansplained everything to her like she was a child and was just overall creepy. We tried to walk away a few times but after 15 mins of this older "gentleman" following her around the store try to talking to her i ended up just grabbing an item on sale and leaving.
A really nice model railroad and hobby shop , the store is beautifully aranged with many layout displays, lots of stock and products available, the staff was super friendly and helpful, quite possibly the best train store.
