I am really really upset about this program. I am in Regina and had a class today at 8:30. I was in the car in front of the CLOSED DOOR for more than 2 hours in Minus 30. Now, is 12 pm and still nobody called me to explain and take responsibility for this situation. It is so frustrating that you don't know what would be a plan for tomorrow class after 5 hours waiting and waiting for a call. If I didn't pay in advance seriously I would have changed my mind not to go with this unprofessional course. I called 7 times the admin and one kind person (who wasn't in the cycle ) to get connected with responsible person unfortunately with no success.
I signed up for CAMA basic and advanced training for filler/botox in May 2025. They did not have the saline, so we the first day we sat for four hours doing nothing and then squished all the clients into the end of the day, which was very rushed. Then Dec 1 I had my PRP training booked. They did not have the centrifuge delivered so our hands-on was also cancelled and rescheduled. I took my own vacation days for this course and now it will be rescheduled and I will have to move things due to CAMAs mistake. On top of all of this, they are taking no accountability for the unbelievable disorganization. Please do not sign up with CAMA, it is more expensive than other programs and I have had a horrible experience. There are so many better, more reliable programs. No refunds for wasting our time either. Unreal.
I had the incredible opportunity to do a preceptorship and hands-on practice with an amazing Aesthetic Nurse Instructor Rachel for advanced Botox and filler techniques. She is truly knowledgeable, patient, and precise with her work. I learned so much from her detailed explanations and the way she demonstrated each injection technique with such confidence and skill. The experience was beyond valuable — it helped me gain more confidence in treating advanced areas safely and effectively. I’m so grateful for her guidance and highly recommend Rachel to anyone wanting to advance their aesthetic practice!
I feel so blessed to have been a model for this incredible school! I’ve now been to the North Vancouver location twice, and each experience has been nothing short of amazing, and it’s not even been two weeks since my last visit! The results are truly wow! I cannot say enough good things about the doctors and professional students. My most recent visit was with Dr. Jordan Atkinson, and he was absolutely phenomenal - a true powerhouse of a doctor who really knows his stuff! He’s not only a fantastic instructor but also so kind and gentle. I felt completely safe and comfortable in his care, and the whole team made sure I was always doing well and had everything I needed. I even received a check-in call a few days later to see how I was doing—so thoughtful! My husband has been amazed by the results. My first visit was back in March 2025. I was a little nervous at first, but the previous models I spoke with raved about CAMA. When instructor Maisa El-Kardy came out to greet me, I instantly felt at ease. She was so kind and professional, guiding her students while ensuring I was comfortable the entire time. Again - amazing! The level of knowledge these doctors have is incredible. I told my husband that it’s been a learning experience for me too - understanding facial structure and how they can enhance features so naturally. The nurse students were also so kind and gentle during the injections. The Canadian Association of Medical Aesthetics (CAMA) is outstanding in every way - from the expert instructors to the wonderful front-end team. If anyone is considering becoming a model or taking one of their courses, I cannot recommend them highly enough. You will truly be in the best of hands!
I had the privilege of attending the medical aesthetics expo in Toronto this past weekend and I’m still thinking about all the great knowledge, inspiration and pearls I took back to our clinic.
The intro course was very informative and there was a lot of hands on practice with many models for Botox and lip filler on both days. The instructors shared excellent techniques for both lip filler and Botox.
I’m a transgender woman that really appreciates what Johanna and her staff in aiding with my transition . I would strongly recommend their services to all interested!!.
