Had such a good time the first time, I held my birthday dinner here!!! Had the same awesome server Sophi! She made my birthday and is the heart and soul of this place!
I come here with my boyfriend all the time and it’s such a nice environment. The food here is also very nice and tasty especially the beef hanging tender. I can’t wait to come back !!
I usually only leave 5-star reviews, but there’s a reason I’m giving 1 star this time. I have experience running several restaurant businesses myself, so I understand the industry. At this location, the server kept forgetting our orders, which made dining difficult. Honestly, mistakes with orders aren’t a big deal I can overlook that. They messed up three times, but if the server is new, mistakes happen. The real problem is the food quality. This branch simply doesn’t know how to cook compared to other locations. We ordered meat as our main dish, plus two servings of beef intestines and a kimchi pancake. The intestines were partially grilled, but they were the worst I’ve ever had in my 40 years. The fried rice that came with the intestines was poorly prepared because the staff didn’t know how to cook it properly. I ended up re-frying the rice myself and serving it to my friends. The kimchi pancake was basically flour with a tiny bit of kimchi thrown in it was so bad we threw it away after one bite. That’s not how you make kimchi pancakes. The chef here needs more training. Even the dipping sauce was just plain soy sauce, which is wrong. I could teach them how to do it properly, but I won’t. If you want to experience real Korean food, go to a different branch. I’ve been to four locations, and this one is by far the worst. I’m Korean and lived in Korea for 37 years. Highly NOT recommended.
Highly recommend. The food was delicious and our server was so lovely. Great hospitality. Love the sides that are provided. Make sure you book a reservation.
Very accommodating and understanding about halal! A very good experience, service was wonderful too. A bit overpriced, especially with the required order amount. Marinated/seasoned meat was not very well seasoned. and I wish they also gave white rice like in other kbbq restaurants. But would definitely go again, definitely worth it for the lengths they go to to make sure halal is accommodated
I’ve been to Daldongnae many times, but this visit was exceptional thanks to our server, Ryan. Even though he’s new to the job, he delivered outstanding service from start to finish. We came during a busy time, yet Ryan remained professional, attentive, and genuinely kind. He really elevated our dining experience and made this visit truly memorable. He’s definitely one of the reasons this restaurant is worth coming back to!
I ordered bibimbab, the taste is so so, no kimchi served, I am not satisfied with this. Maybe their BBQ is better and more favorite, but bibimbab and kimchi represent Korean food.
