Despite charging thousands of dollars per kid Futures gymnastics refuse to provide Wi‑Fi for parents in the viewing area. Instead, parents are effectively told to rely on our phone hotspots while sitting for an hour or more, week after week. That may sound minor to management, but for parents who are trying to work, manage family logistics, or simply stay connected while still being present for their kids, it’s a real and ongoing inconvenience. I emailed the gym about this and received a response from Wendy Vink, Executive Director, confirming that Futures has chosen not to offer Wi‑Fi, framing it as part of creating a “safe, distraction‑free environment” and saying they “cannot commit to offering Wi‑Fi at this time.” There was no real interest in solving the problem, just a generic assurance that they “appreciate the suggestion” and may consider it someday. It left the clear impression that management is not particularly interested in addressing basic customer needs or aligning with what other local clubs already provide. All nearby locations, including Gymnastics Mississauga, offer strong, fast Wi‑Fi as a standard part of a modern, family‑friendly experience. Futures’ stance feels out of touch and dismissive by comparison. As a paying parent, it’s frustrating to see that the leadership’s priority is defending the status quo rather than making a simple improvement that would meaningfully support families. 1 star is generous - this is ridiculous. Grow up Futures.
Hosted our daughter's 8th birthday here and had a great overall experience. They were right on schedule, allowed the girls to try several different areas, and the facility was clean. The kids had a great time. Coaches were lovely. Seamless payment when booking. Would recommend.
I went here from age 2-13 in the early 2000s then my sister did competitive gymnastics here for 10 years following a 2 year career as a coach! Safe to say would 100% recommend
Hosted my daughter's 6th birthday party and everything was wonderful! Kids had a blast with the engaging coaches for an hour of gymnastics fun. Everything was very organized and clean and the staff was incredibly helpful throughout! Highly recommend!
I’m very disappointed with the way this gymnastics center handled our situation. We were never informed that if we dropped out of the classes, we would lose the makeup sessions. When I called to ask about it, the manager was extremely rude and dismissive. She told me it wasn’t her job to explain the policy, which is unacceptable. Clear communication and respectful customer service should be the minimum, especially when dealing with families and children. I would not recommend this place.
Futures has become a second home, our daughter is on the competitive cheer team, practicing 3 days a week. Coaches are very devoted, the environment is friendly and my daughter absolutely loves it there. Even our older daughter has decided to join a team this year. The experience has been great and will last a lifetime.
No consistent supervision, guidance or coaching for the children 4-5 years program. Only one coach who is child himself and has no control of the class or teaching ability. For weeks now we have been disappointed with their program. Not worth the money!! Look elsewhere.
