Make sure you check the expiry date on everything you buy! I found lots of expired products and some within days of expiry. The store looks filthy and the baked stuff looks like what they sell in the remote villages in Eastern Europe, basically look like they were baked last week...never coming back to this store.
If I could give this store more than 5 stars I would. My partner and I had the best shopping experience. The owner Alex is extremely knowledgable and generous. We are going to be regular customers for sure and can't wait to try other Eastern European goodies!
Hi all, I have shopped and ordered here often. Today I tried calling to place an order for "sweets" for my daughter's shower and among much confusion and shuffling on the phone was told they can't take my order because a) they don't take phone orders (not true have done so in the past) and b) the because the owner was not there. I tried to explain I have done this many times in the past and still nothing. Too bad because I really liked this place previously. Perhaps they are very busy and don't need my money and this speaks to customer service.
If you like Polish food, you are in the right store. I go there often. Freshly baked bread and buns, organic eggs from Mennonites, plates to go and homemade sausages.
This is a cozy little Polish store with pastries, fresh baked bread, cold cuts and and a variety of other European supplies. I go there weekly and the ladies running the place are often very pleasant.
I love this place!! me and my mom go there all the time. the people are lovely. Everything is packaged nicely and just to make a comment about one of the previous comments made. When you order deli...they hand it over the counter not at the cash. Its a system that they have. So its the customers fault.
