Bad experience with cake, it was old and tasted like it's been sitting there for a month. NOT COMING BACK because staff were unwilling to solve the problem. Receipt states that refunds can be done within only 24 hours, I came back the next day and they refused to exchange it for something else or refund it. Zero customer service skills. There's so many other Easter European stores, I'll shop at Starsky instead and never coming to this place!
Love this store and go to it every opportunity i get. I discovered them 30 years ago and have never been disappointed. I no longer live in the area, so for me to go i really have to go out of my way. I love thier little deli section food is authentic european, tastes like my moms and its nice not having to cook it. Great selection of smoked meats and other European foods that most stores do not carry. Staff is always nice and friendly. Highly recommend this place.
It's not a big store and tends to get tight and cramped with dozen of people in. Selection of polish cold cuts and cheeses. European food products. Cakes sometimes are old...so buy at your own risk
This was my FAVORITE POLISH STORE in almost 25 years… until yesterday! Why do you even hire people with such REPULSIVE ATTITUDES I think I heard this young girl speak with a Russian accent. But this DOES NOT REALLY MATTER where she’s from, just PLEASE teach your employees at least not to LOOK DOWN on customers… if they are unable to behave in a civilized way by themselves. Or the customers will stop coming back. And this is a place, that should be a part of HOMELAND for many Polish-Canadians So sad. Still giving 2⭐️ instead of 1⭐️ because of all those years… FAREWELL CANADA Sad review for a sad goodbye… “UPDATE” from yesterday (Mon Nov 10th ‘25) ⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️ after how this gruff shop assistant talked to me today... I must admit... I FELT ALMOST LIKE IN POLAND;) you won't find this kind of attitude in any Canadian stores ...because this is typical Polish "behavior flavor" from the 70s;) and REAL LOCAL ATTRACTION;) ...but honestly, FOOD IS GREAT:)
Good food. Pierogies, golabki, borsch and kabanosy, all the yamies of good old eastern Europe including trying to squeeze big numbers of people into very limited space.
