I ordered this basket several days in advance, and called ahead of placing my order to ensure the basket would arrive on the delivery date I specified in my order. I received an email from ups the evening that the basket was already supposed to have been delivered (Friday) stating the delivery was rescheduled for the following Monday! Not impressed. The basket ended up being delivered only one day late (still not acceptable), however many of the items were substituted with different items than outlined in the description. I was not informed of these substitutions, and the whole reason I chose this basket was because of the overwhelming birthday theme. However, most of the 'birthday themed' items were the ones that were substituted for other things?
We ordered a basket as a goodbye present for our colleague who is leaving to another job. We paid extra for the personalized ribbon and an additional congratulations card. The basket presented online contained a pouch of Columbian coffee, which was sort of a selling point for us, because our colleague is coffee lover. Anyway, the basket that arrived didn’t have the coffee pouch, no personalized ribbon, but rather a regular ribbon. The messge that was supposed to go on the ribbon was printed on this generic “Whatabasket” card, and there was no Congratulations card. The card provided was also creased and in poor condition. I contacted customer service asking for a refund for the items they didn’t provide, but got no response. I guess they count on the baskets being delivered directly to the recipient, who doesn’t know what to expect. But we ordered it in advance, as we wanted to hand it personally, and hence how we observed all the missing stuff. Terrible service, will not use again and do not recommend.
I had custom baskets made for a meeting in Montreal. People loved them! Jean was also super helpful in customizing them and getting them delivered within a couple of days. A+ highly recommended!
The delivery of my order was prompt. The recipients let me know how pleased and surprised they were with the gift. Everything was fresh and made the day a little more special.
How incredibly uninspired... My girlfriend, who is new to Canada, felt bad when she saw what I got and now that I see how much she paid I am even more upset. I didn't even get the items listed on the page! "7 Unique beers" and salty snacks (one item is a bag of super spicy habanero chips that I can't even enjoy that wasn't part of the list and a can of Corona instead of the bottle... very classy. Not to mention the other beers that were replaced like Unibrogue, Marsten's, Lancaster and Mill St.) all of which could be found with a single easy trip to Wal-Mart . What really made me laugh was the super generic font on the personalized message card. $100 for $40 of product.. Zero effort put into the most basic details. Make your own basket at home.
I have ordered twice from this business and WOW do they deliver. You cannot touch the quality and variety of treats and goodness in this basket. Well done and Thank you.
