Shak is the best. She has incredible amount of knowledge about skin and she has completely changed my skin. I had terrible acne from the age of 19 and had a lot of scars left overtime. I started going to Shak in 2022 and three years later people tell me that I don’t even need foundation anymore cause I have such great skin. When I was super stressed out before my wedding, to get a modern Bengali look with minimalistic soft glam make-over thats when I bumped with Shakereen Apu! She is super sweet and friendly and very easy to talk to and discuss about what I need and desire for my big day. Shakreen really takes her time with brides. Through skin preparation, and choices building up to the day. Wedding planning and being a bride is stressful and Shakreen takes a lot of the stress away. She is so experienced working with hijabis too she works to make you feel like your best and most confident self!
I met Shakereen through her skin balance program and left with so much knowledge. I learned so much about my skin, what products to use and their ingredients. I had the opportunity to join Shakereen's saree workshop and I must say, it was so well done! The way she taught us kept us all engaged, and I learned so much from her. She was very well organized, which made the learning so much easier. I went into the workshop not knowing how to drape a saree but I came out of the workshop feeling confident that I can put on a saree on my own, not to mention also make the PLEATS!
