Tried the brioche donut from Norum. They are a smallCart set in a shop beside Gladiator burger . It is a sugar covered filled donut that leaves more to be desired. It might have been an off week as the flavors did not impress like previous weeks of theirs. The donuts are also not prepared fresh per order so that might have impacted the taste a bit. A good concept that might work better in a cafe type setting.
Wow!!! I bought a box of the minis and what heaven! The dough is light and the fillings are not sweet but are perfect. Each one has a distinct flavor. There are real strawberries in the strawberry one I will definitely purchase at the next pop up. Don't even look at how much it costs. These are worth every penny.
I saw this on TikTok and just had to try it — and wow, it did not disappoint! I ordered a box of six donuts, and oh my god, each bite tasted absolutely heavenly. The strawberry, pistachio, ube, and Biscoff flavors were pure perfection. I’m officially obsessed! Make sure you go early though — they sell out so fast!
I went to the Norum Donuts pop-up at Square One and absolutely loved it! The donuts were so fresh annd soft, I loved the crème brûlée, it was so good. The staff were super friendly and had great vibes too. Definitely worth checking out if you get the chance!
I would go elsewhere. It's a small kitchenette inside another restaurant. The service there could not be rated as it was the server from the other restaurant who has to assist me. They are also pretty pricey so I was hoping for something good! They were very middling. It is the same dough being used as a carrier for the filling. It's not a bad Brioche but having the dusted sugar and no napkins provided is absolutely criminal. The fillings themselves were also on the smaller size and passable. The Ube was not having the characteristic yam notes, the Nutella had a tiny hint of hazelnut and the Bischoff was actually being overpowered by the Donut itself. It's a meh place with an Instagram focused niche. If they did take some time to focus on their dough and their fillings and provide napkins at least, that would be a very good start.
Gave in to the tiktok and instagram craze and finally tried their donuts! I’ve tried the Nutella, Ube, Lotus Biscoff, Pistachio, Matcha and Crème Brûlée and oh my god.. these changed my world guys. My favs are the Lotus Biscoff then crème brûlée then the ube. Best part about those is they’re not sweet at all especially when everything in this country tries to give you diabetes. MORE FLAVOUR LESS SUGAR PLEASE. Love small businesses, love Norum!!
These are the most amazing donuts ever! So light and fluffy, with an amazing filling! They have a brioche texture but are better than brioches! My all-time fav are the crème brulée, pistachio, nutella & cereals. I could eat a whole box by myself! Am a huge fan!
