Just had the beef as well as the chicken empanadas. Just like the review from 11 months ago from the girl complaining about the patacones size and the empanadas being 90% potatoe with HINTS of chicken and beef, it's still like that. Tried to explain to the man who handled the call and he said he blends the chicken and beef so fine it's indistinguishable in the food. Your empanadas are 90% potatoes. Regardless of your years in the industry, stop playing around and "cutting costs". Spent $60 on your food, and left a tip for this...
So today I had the chance to come and try food from My Empanda. Now let me tell you. This was by far the best food I’ve tasted in the city. Let me start off by saying if you’re use to eating small portions. You will be taking food home! In this economy this is well worth it. Today I had a dish called Calentado (Leftovers) and everything on the plate was delicious! Now let me tell you about the Papa rellena, Pan con Queso, and pan con queso y guayaba or maybe I think it’s called bocadillo. Either way if you get there and these are available you better get them! I was unsure of the pan con queso y guayaba because I had a bad experience at a different place but My empanada definitely changed my opinion on this treat! I can say it’s by far my favourite item I’ve tried here. The pan con queso is really really good as well. You won’t be disappointed regardless of which you choose. Last but not least because we save the best for last! When I entered I was greeted by the wonderful Juanita! She guided me through the popular options and gave me solid recommendations! She came by a few times to make sure I was okay and enjoying my meal when she wasn’t busy at the register. I would definitely give her a 5/5 for service! So my overall review is that if you’re still reading this then you definitely got to head on over! Thank you My Empanada and Juanita for the amazing food and service!
The chuleta valluna is huge and flavourful, pastel de yuca is amazing and pretty much the same you are going to find in Colombia. Overall, excellent Colombian food, I’d recommend.
I walked in first time TODAY because of the Google reviews, I'm simply obsessed with the cheese sticks, they melt in your mouth it's delicioso best ever and I got the chicken and beef empanadas also very good, i highly recommend gracias Columbia....
My Empanada always hits the spot! We had the Sobrebarriga and the Bandeja Paisa—both were absolutely delicious, packed with flavour, and cooked to perfection. The portions are generous, so you definitely get great value for your money. Always a satisfying meal—highly recommended!
This place is a gem. Their cheese strings are now officially the best thing I've ever eaten, oh my goodness. Just incredible. I ordered one to try and immediately got two more. For two people we paid $28 for food and drinks and left completely satisfied. Empanadas were so crispy and delicious. Hot sauce and garlic sauce are both sooo yummy. I highly recommend this place!! From the price to the food quality to the service, I give it all five stars.
Crispy and delicious empanaditas! The crust is well cooked and the filling is well seasoned. My only critique is that the hot sauce could be a little hotter but that's personal preference. Great prices too, love the empanaditas combos.
