I was searching for Chinese food and stumbled upon this restaurant—and I’m so glad I did! The dan dan noodles were absolutely perfect, with just the right balance of spice and flavor. I also tried the ground pork noodle soup, and the broth was rich, comforting, and full of depth. Can’t wait to come back and explore more of the menu next time!

We went in to get wonton soup to go but when we got home there was not a wonton in site! The soup base was extremely salty and the amount of soup to noodle ratio was way off. I guess that's a good thing considering the soup was so so salty I wasn't able to finish it. We also got an order of spring rolls that were just meh. Dear owner. You missed the point of my review...there were no wontons for my wonton soup. Also, I have been to many places that package the broth and the noodle/wonton separately but that has no effect on the saltiness of the broth.

Got the Dandan noodles and a side of spring rolls. I will caveat that since I'm allergic to peanuts, the dish didn't taste as it normally would. Overall the noodles had a good kick of spice, the ground beef wasn't dry, and the noodles had a nice texture. Not sure if the Sichuan peppercorns were present since the classic numbing sensation didn't happen (for me anyway). It was overall okay. The side has 5 spring rolls and a dollop of plum sauce on a plate. They are not made in-house, but store-bought and then fried on site. I had hoped for a more unique and handmade taste but I appreciated their honesty, and they keep costs down this way. I suspect that their wontons are also store-bought but communication was difficult due to a language barrier. There is a ramp outside for wheelchair users but the store does not have powered doors. No washroom inside at all, for abled or disabled people. Overall a nice hole in the wall resto for homestyle Sichuan cooking.

My son and I had the seafood noodle soup. The seafood was microwaved and looked like cheap seafood you’d buy from a package at a grocery store. The broth tasted like dish soap. Both of us felt ill afterwards. This is was our first time at the restaurant and we picked it based on the positive Google ratings. This was an awful experience.

We always wanted to try out this restaurant, and finally we could arrange our schedule to visit this joint today. The restaurant is not big. It is about 5 to 6 tables in total. The first impression was uncertainty as there was only one customer in this small restaurant. Shortly after entering, we started to realize that we made a great choice. The restaurant owner was very friendly and suggested non spicy ground pork noodles for my kids. My wife ordered Dan Dan Noodles, and I ordered beef brisket noodles. The noodles were super authentic and very delicious. Even my kids, who normally do not eat spicy, tried and wanted more of our Dan Dan Noodles and beef noodles. We will definitely visit it again in the near future.

The food was tasty although they need to add more soup broth to the soup dishes...it was very low. Flavorful but not enough it was a bit odd. Would have given 5 stars if there was more soup

It is OK for people like spicy. As it is not a restaurant, they do not have a full kitchen. What they serve are prepared in advance and come with frozen taste. With the price I am not able to make recommendation.

We are sorry to heard that you dislike the taste, because the wonton & the soup can’t package separately, so it’s better to eat it right away.

We're sorry to hear that you had a negative experience with our food. However, we bought the mixed seafood from Loblaws with very good quality, and our soup base was come from pork bone and chicken bone with couple hours slow cooking.
