I was frazzled when I walked into Brakes Unlimited after my Mini Cooper dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree with every caution sign alerting me that something was wrong. But if that wasn’t enough maybe it was the burning rubber smell that filled my nostrils. A big thank you to George and his team for welcoming me and making me feel at ease and letting me know that they would find the problem. He sure did find the problem, within an hour he had called me back, had explained the problem with the broken harmonic balancer, ordered the parts and said that the car would be ready at the end of the day. That it was, the car runs so smooth now and no stinking burning rubber smell. This is not the first time I’ve taken my car to Brakes Unlimited, last time I had an appointment to replace my brakes, excellent service. A great team of mechanics that are very efficient and honest. Thanks again George for all your help.
Had an emergency car issue and they got us fixed up in just a few short hours. Great deal and great work. Really honest about what we needed done. Highly recommend. Won't be going anywhere else from now on.
100% shady business If your employee is selling tires/cars out of your business location....not to mention during business hours ....using business assets I.e computer printer phone number etc news flash you sell whatever it is you say you don't!!
George and his employees, I feel always goes above and beyond of what you ask for . Very time efficient ,prices are great as well. I've known George for over 40 years .He is not one to take advantage of anyone . Does great work. All employees are very knowledgeable and will show you on your car what is wrong. Nothing is done without your consent. My family has been going to Brakes Unlimited for over 40 years.
The mechanic at this shop sold me some wheels that I trusted were in good condition. When installed they are useless, they are dangerous to drive, I told him to return the money I earned with so much effort and what he did was tell me that he would accuse me before the police for asking him for the money that is mine! Don't go to that store, they are not honest!
If you are buying a vehicle they have for sale, spend $20 for a carfax report. Odometers seem to be rolled back compared to repairs conducted and recorded by Carfax.
Brakes Unlimited is an excellent garage to take your car to. The owner George and his staff are always coureous, efficient and ethical. His expertise on motor vehicles is invaluable and you will always receive an honest opinion or evaluation of work that needs to be done on your vehicle. I always recommend Brakes unlimited to my friends and family. Honest, good mechanics are very difficult to find!!! UPDATE July 22,2025 George and his team worked on my car for a road trip I was taking to Virginia! Excellent job I will always go to Brakes Unlimited!
