Lovely antique market with a variety of treasures for every type of collector. Cafe on site if you need a cup of tea or coffee and a snack to sustain you as you take your time exploring all the vendors.
New Security is so sweet. I was told next door had more free parking at McKenna. Eric the guard/man helped me with my wheel chair, great staff! Great deals
Heavy focus on jewelry, coins, silverware and curiosa. Can’t say that I am impressed by the quality of the items in relation to the price asked for them. In general, the handlers are overpricing. Nice atmosphere and crowded in a pleasant way. Obviously visited by many regulars. Fun to browse through the merchandise.
I went there out of curiosity and was not looking for something specific. People came to sell many antique items, e.g. old film cameras, watches, coins, tea sets etc. It was quite crowded.
I've visited this Antiques Market numerous times in both the original building and the current tent. Every time, I ended up buying something for my various collections. There's something for every collector. Plus, one never knows what treasure one will find, because there are different vendors every Sunday. Even if one isn't looking to buy, it's still fun to walk and look around. FYI: There are washrooms available inside.
This place is a gem and should be on the list of visitors to Toronto. There is always an amazing array of antiques and collectibles. Given the large number of vendors and the fact that the merchandise is constantly changing, there is something of interest for everyone.
The owner don't seem to help the vendors they have a lack of advertisement even though it would be a great tourist attraction where you can find all kinds of great gems at affordable prices
