Such a fantastic experience as both a foster and recent adopter. very detailed and thorough in their vetting of candidates to really ensure they find the right home. Their adoption events help you better understand a dog before you make the decision to bring them home. Cannot recommend enough, adopt don't shop!
The Fetch & Releash team from the interview process to the final adoption processing were extremely thorough and efficient. The foster mom from our first meet & greet to the adoption pick up was a pleasure to deal with and most helpful during our first few days with my new rescue. Lulu has been a great addition to our family so far. It’s only been 2 months and she is still a bit timid and nervous. We can’t wait for her to be fully transitioned and comfortable in her new home. Thank you Fetch & Reieash team for your diligence and dedication for a great cause.
Beware of this rescue. Dogs listed as “take awhile to get to know you”, “shy”, etc are probably much worse than the flowery language used to describe them. I don’t think anyone in Tennessee is vetting for behaviour before they ship to Canada. The foster did not mention resource guarding, didn’t mention that she had to muzzle train and big one - didn’t mention bite history. I spent thousands trying to help the dog I adopted. Still recovering from this nightmare.
Amazing organization that truly cares about dogs and finding them the right home! So many loving dogs looking for fur ever homes and Fetch is helping as many as they can.
I had an amazing experience with Fetch + Release who facilitated the adoption of my first dog Kaela. Their group of volunteers were extremely informative and supportive throughout the adoption process and as a dog lover I appreciate that their first priority is the dog's well being and finding their forever home.
